If you like to stay abreast of interesting upcoming games, then you'll have no doubt heard of deadly hide-and-seek multiplayer game Spy Party.

It's a PC game in which one player plays a spy who tries to blend in with NPCs at a party while carrying out some covert operations. The other player is a sniper who looks out for any signs of non-AI activity so that she can find the human spy and shoot it before the timer runs out.

In effect, Gamious's upcoming game Dark Day LA is the same idea reworked for the iPad. Oh, and the Dutch dev has swapped vampires for spies here.

So, one player is a vampire hunter with a sniper rifle in a helicopter patrolling the city from above. The other is a vampire who must attempt to bite the necks of as many citizens as possible without being caught by the other player.

The vampire leaves behind bloody corpses, you see, making it a little more difficult for it to remain covert than it is for the spy in Spy Party.

But that also complicates matters for the vampire hunter. One wrong shot and the vampire wins.

Dark Day LA could wind up being one of the better multiplayer titles on the iPad, providing the controls are as sharp as Gamious promises.

Gamious reckons Dark Day LA will go live on November 7th, so keep an eye on the App Store around that date.
