Dark and Darker Mobile devs Krafton to collaborate with Samsung for optimised experience
Some devices will even support raytracing

- Dark and Darker Mobile devs Krafton are set to team up with Samsung
- The partnership will bring enhanced graphics to Samsung devices
- Higher-end devices will even support raytracing!
Dark and Darker will run better on Samsung, at least that's what devs Krafton and manufacturers Samsung would have you believe. The two have teamed up to offer an enhanced experience for players of the upcoming mobile extraction 'shooter' on the newest devices, like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
Dark and Darker Mobile is a pseudo extraction 'shooter' where instead of blasting your way out of a modern battlefield, you take on the role of a dungeoneering adventurer. Fight monsters, grab loot and make it out alive, just be careful because other players might have their eye on that treasure you're carrying too.
According to Samsung and Krafton, by leveraging their experience with 3D technology, Dark and Darker mobile will offer enhanced graphics on their newer devices. This includes ray-tracing for devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra!

We wouldn't doubt that Samsung can achieve this on their newest devices. But for a game like Dark and Darker where graphics can be secondary to success, it may be a bit more of a gimmick than anything which will make much of a difference for most players.
But we would point out that this new graphics arms race is something we proposed when we talked about Resident Evil 7's success (or lack thereof) on mobile. And we're certainly intrigued to see other companies following suit with big leaps in graphic boundaries as a new selling point.
