Danmaku Unlimited 2 is bringing the purple rain to iOS on March 1st

Bullet-hell aficionados should start doing their thumb exercises right about now, because Danmaku Unlimited 2 will be blasting onto iOS in just over a week.
Doragon's forthcoming plasma-infused shooter follows in the pink vapour trailers of the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning Danmaku Unlimited, so you're back in the cockpit of a starfighter flying (literally) in the face of incredible odds.
As in other bullet-hell blasters (such as Cave's DoDonPachi Resurrection), you have to steer your spacecraft through an endless barrage of laser bolts in Danmaku Unlimited 2.
Controlling your ship is as simple as sliding your finger across the screen. Picking a path through the curtain of bullets in your way is considerably less simple, of course.
Danmaku Unlimited 2's creator has drummed up five stages for you to tackle, each with its own bosses and four levels of difficulty.
You'll also be able to upgrade your craft via an impressive range of sci-fi weaponry.
