Dadish 2 is the sequel to the highly popular and recognizable initial game of the same name. The game continues the story of a radish dad who tries to save his child radishes. In actuality, it restarts the tail, but in different locations.

In the first game, you were at home and were asleep as the baby radishes saw a balloon and start chasing after it as kids typically do. You wake up and realize the children are missing and off you go on your platforming adventure to find them. Now, the tale starts at work, in your office, and yes, you're asleep again.Things start here before you move on to other levels.

All of the kids somehow find your job and explore the office building. You wake up at your desk and notice that the kids are running free at work. Once again, you have to save the day as the kids have themselves a ball in the hilariously trapped-filled office.

More Traps

Dadish 2 is a smooth, straight follow-up of the original in terms of level design. The game will progress in difficulty as you go, just like the first game. It just doesn't take as long to get straight into some tougher levels in the sequel, especially when going for stars.

So, the big tip here would be to be more observant and time your jumps as well as you can. With buzzsaw and angry fast food items among other things, your workplace is dangerous. Hilariously, one of your kids will point this out too, which you'll say you didn't realize because you're asleep most of the time.

Levels aren't horribly difficult though. It's mostly just when you're trying to go for stars. They're usually hidden in certain areas on each level. If you want to go for them all, you certainly can. If you're struggling to get a star, you can come back to the level later. Levels are pretty short, so there isn't much backtracking to worry about which is good.

Keep Those Jumping Skills Sharp

Refamiliarizing yourself with the jumping mechanics can help you in Dadish 2. Now, more than ever, jumping and double jumping can be used to your advantage. On bouncy platforms, you may need to hit that jump button an extra time to get the right amount of air.

It's easy of course to pick up since it is just a one-button move, but that said, you'll be terrific if you can master the timing of the jumps. As with most platforms, hopping is critical to success, and Dadish is probably one of the better games at making it a focal point.

You'll need to jump over enemies, traps, and on the top of walls among other things. Get that ability down, and you'll be the best dad(ish) ever.

Levels Are Still Short

We covered the main basics already, so this is just a reminder that levels in Dadish 2 are still pretty short, just like the first game. And if you're new to the Rad Dad experience, then you may appreciate its simplicity in the length of each area.

The game can provide some challenge, but it does so in bite sizes. This is good so that way you don't need to do much backtracking, which can be simply dreadful in video games. This works even better since you only have one life to work with too.

Overall, just enjoy it and appreciate its short but satisfying nature of the game's levels. You still come away feeling pretty accomplished after getting through traps and bosses throughout while saving your children.
