Xbox Live indie hit Cthulhu Saves the World submitted to the App Store

It looks like Zeboyd Games's Xbox Live indie favourite Cthulhu Saves the World is one step closer to conquering your mobile device.

In a tantalising post on the dev's blog, it's revealed that the iOS version of the retro-RPG satire has been submitted to Apple, and is, therefore, in the process of being approved.

Provided the app falls within Apple's developer guidelines - and Cthulhu doesn't enfeeble the fragile minds of all who gaze upon him - iPhone and iPad gamers should be able to join the Old One on a humorous Final Fantasy-style quest to regain his powers (and ultimately destroy the universe) very soon.

The PC and console versions of Cthulhu Saves the World were both well received, so we're excited to see if the mobile port lives up to the hype.

All being well, Cthulhu Saves the World should be on the App Store's digital shelves in the next week or so.
