Crunchyroll's Ani-May offers weekly new releases with hits such as Corpse Party and Crayon Shin-chan
Ani-Mayhem

- Crunchyroll's Ani-May celebration is almost here
- Enjoy a new release added to the service every week
- It all kicks off on April 30th with Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
For those who are fans of cult Japanese releases, Crunchyroll Game Vault is the place to be. And now the streaming service is set to expand its offerings even further with the new Ani-May event that'll see a brand-new release drop every week throughout, yep, you guessed it, May.
To start, we've got a Square Enix classic in the form of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth that's set to arrive on April 30th. This enhanced version of the original Valkyrie Profile sees you step into the shoes of the titular spirit guardian Lenneth on her journey to recruit fallen heroes for the final battle of Ragnarok in a world inspired by Norse mythology.
But if that's not your cup of tea, you've got plenty to look forward to next month. Be that cult-classic horror RPG Corpse Party, slice-of-life adventure Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town or survival horror White Day, which is making its debut on mobile.

There are a few other releases we've not listed above, but to find those, you'll just have to check in on Crunchyroll Game Vault yourself. And while some streaming services, such as Netflix, have struggled to draw in a gaming niche, others, such as Crunchyroll, have managed to corner the market on Eastern imports for a cult-appreciating audience.
With its library of over 50 releases, it seems as if Crunchyroll Game Vault is poised to grow even further. So with that in mind, be sure to check it out if you have a subscription, and see all the great new releases arriving this May.
Or, maybe you'd rather give Netflix another chance? And with their own bevvy of remarkable indies exclusively available via the platform, they're well worth a look. So why not dig into our list of the top 10 best games available on Netflix at the moment?
