The chaotic car wrecking point chaser, Crash Club, soft-launches in Australia and New Zealand on iOS
The first rule about Crash Club - you do not talk about Crash Club
Having been announced in late January, Crash Club has soft launched in select countries.
Created by Prettygreat, a studio made up of ex-Halfbrick talents (Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride), Crash Club is an eagerly anticipated vehicular crashy-smashy MMO. Though, it isn't entirely about drilling cars into one another, you can wreck the environment to collect points as well, just like respectable delinquents.
The aim of the game is to build your score up as much as you can. The title may suggest car-on-car action, but you don't want to go into battle with anything that's got bigger guns than you. The more points you have, the more you can upgrade, and the more folks you can take out.
This kind of chaotic system makes it seem almost like the addictive .io games, but a little more three-dimensional. So you can laser beam a car AND drive through a building all in the same day.
Crash Club has soft-launched on the App Store in New Zealand and Australia. If you'd like to check out the game but don't live in these territories, check out our guide on foreign iTunes accounts here.
