Feral Interactive has released a new video for Company of Heroes that displays the touch-focused controls

Following Feral Interactive's announcement last week that Company of Heroes would be launching for iPad on 13th February, they have now released a new video that shows gameplay and the mobile mechanics that will be found in the upcoming port of the game.

You'll be able to see the Command Wheel and newly designed tactical map in action that has only previously been seen in gif form late last year. If you do end up buying the game and find the Command Wheel to be too cumbersome then you can still use the more traditional controls that have been optimised for touch as well.

The video also explains that the file size of Company of Heroes will be 5.2gb. However, once you've installed it there are several options that will allow you to reduce the file size of the game to suit your needs. You can choose which campaign missions and skirmish maps are installed as well as deciding if you want high-quality models or not.

They've evidently put a lot of time and thought into this port, though that should come as no surprise to anyone who's played a Feral Interactive effort before. They've previously ported Grid Autosport and Tropico to tablets, both of which our previous writers found to be excellent.

The game will require iPadOS 13.1 or later to be installed and your iPad will need to be one of the following:

iPad mini (5th generation)
iPad Air (3rd generation)
iPad (5th generation)
iPad (6th generation)
iPad (7th generation)
iPad Pro (1st generation: 9.7", 12.9")
iPad Pro (2nd generation: 10.5", 12.9")
iPad Pro (3rd generation: 11", 12.9")

Company of Heroes is available to pre-order now on the App Store ahead of its release on 13th February. It's a premium title that will cost $13.99.
