Civilization Revolution rises again on iPad

You never get a second chance to make a first impression, but darned if Civilization Revolution isn't trying anyway.

The turn-based historical strategy game is coming to iPad having already met a mixed reception on iPhone and iPod touch.

According to information leaked from the App Store, the game is an enhanced version of that release for iPhone. Specifically, the graphics have been enhanced and the interface optimised for the larger screen.

I'm particularly curious as to how the controls have been reworked considering how finicky I found them to be in the original release.

As you see from the first images of the game, the larger iPad display has definitely served the game well. The screen is no longer cluttered with notifications, indicators, and other features.
