Circulous, the point and click adventure game, will receive an update in July that sees you fighting against a new hacker group
During our inaugural LaunchPad event, we covered the impending arrival of Chain Reaction Games' narrative mystery puzzler, Circulous. Today, at LaunchPad #4, we're sharing some details about a new update that will arrive in the game on July 1st.
The new update picks up from your recent victory over the Aviary hacker group. But there's no time to rest on your laurels. The Circulous software at a local hospital isn't working as intended, and patient's records have gone missing. Naturally, it is up to you to go and investigate.
You quickly learn that a new hacker group called VAPORWAVE is behind the issues, and you will need to put a stop to their meddling. However, whilst investigating the problems at the hospital, you stumble upon some personal information that raises questions about who you are and what your role truly is in Circulous.
- If you love point and click games, don't miss this list!
When the new update arrives on July 1st, you can expect to tackle a whole new set of puzzles as you attempt to put a stop to VAPORWAVE. This will include playing a racing minigame against the fiendish hackers that looks like it has been ripped straight from the 80s.
In truth, the entire update might feel like a trip to the past. For some bizarre reason, the hospital uses computers from 1985, and you will need to navigate this dated system to try and recover the lost records. However, you will need to find a way into the room first since there's no one in the waiting room to grant you entry.
Circulous is available now over on the App Store. It is a premium game that costs $4.99.You can head over to the PocketGamer LaunchPad hub to find all of our exclusive announcements from our two-day event - and don't forget to tune in at 5 PM UK Time for our amazing reveal stream!
