Square Enix's iPhone and iPad RPG Chaos Rings Omega updated with increased level cap, hidden boss

As promised back in June, Square Enix has rolled out a succession of monthly content updates to its iOS Japanese RPG Chaos Rings Omega.

To the astonishment of nobody, then, November’s update has just gone live on the App Store.

In this latest refresh - the fifth in the series of six planned Breaking the Limit updates from Squeenix - the level cap for the bonus content has been increased to 150, and some new weapons have been added which can be looted from level 150+ foes.

Square Enix has also seen fit to include an extra hidden boss for protagonist Veig to battle against, and to make two further Piu-Piu collections available in this latest instalment of the Chaos Rings saga.

The Bronze Award-winning Chaos Rings Omega, in fact, is set 10,000 years before the ‘first’ Chaos Rings title, yet its story draws upon plot events from the original game rather cleverly.
