Stacking crates onto the back of a truck isn't usually a fun activity. But, somehow, it's strangely compelling in Cargo King.

This is yet another game from Happymagenta. The studio is already releasing Orbitum at midnight. But that's not enough - Cargo King is being released at the same time.

As said, Cargo King involves stacking crates. Cranes cross the screen carrying the crates and you tap the screen to make them drop them.

Obviously, you only have a very small target - your vertical stack of crates - so it proves tricky. It doesn't help that the cranes move at different angles and speeds, either.

Cargo King is a free-to-play game and so IAPs are offered for in-game coins. With coins you can buy hearts that let you have another chance if your stack topples.

You also earn coins for successfully placing another crate on your pile. Bonus coins are given for perfect placement, speed, and matching three crates with the same symbol.

My record is 90 crates. That's an impressive score, if I do say so myself, so see if you can beat it. I didn't purchase more hearts to reach that, either.

Cargo King will be available to download for free on the UK and US App Stores at midnight.
