Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team hosting anniversary of the previously held NEXT DREAM event from last year

KLab Inc.’s popular soccer-based Pv/P/E gacha Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, adapted from the equally popular anime series of the same name, will celebrate the one year anniversary of the NEXT DREAM original story that was authored by the same writer of Captain Tsubasa: Yoichi Takahasi. This side story was somewhat of a companion piece to the story of Dream Team, and was originally aired within Dream Team itself.

The story of NEXT DREAM was exclusively told within Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, so this one is not adapted from the anime like most of the main game’s story. Instead, this story took place after the Madrid Olympics in Captain Tsubasa Rising Sun, another spinoff manga that is currently being serialised as we speak. To sum it up, this NEXT DREAM story was a game-exclusive event that ran last year, and was a direct sequel to a spinoff of the original Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team. That’s right - we’ve got a multimedia story arc on our hands.

But we’re here to see what this anniversary offers in-game right? Well, good news - there’s plenty to dig your teeth into! First up, we’ve got the 1st Anniversary Log-in Bonus, which runs from September 23rd to October 9th, and offers up Dreamballs, Skill Removal Cards, SSR Black Balls, and more. There’s also of course the event banner, where you can roll for characters that were exclusive to the NEXT DREAM storyline such as Natureza, S. Rams, and Madric of Madrid Blanco. Those three are actually brand new to this event too!

On top of that banner, there’s another that ran during last year’s NEXT DREAM event that offers up another three characters; J.J Ochado, Mbappa, and Raymar. Add those two banners onto the various Mission events going on that will give you tons of free rewards for completing various objectives such as scoring x amount of goals or upgrading a player x amount of times, and there’s a ton of potential free materials up for grabs here.

If you’d like to check all of this free stuff out for yourself, you can download Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team completely for free at either of the links below this article! In the meantime, you can also peek at the official website for more in-depth information on every event running during this celebration.
