Candy Crush All Stars Tournament returns for its fifth iteration this year
Got a sweet tooth?

- The Candy Crush All Stars tournament is making a return for its fifth iteration
- A massive $1m prize-pool is up for grabs
- The competition is open for all over two months, with qualifiers, knockouts and finals
Fans of Candy Crush esports rejoice! Because the Candy Crush All Stars tournament is returning for a fifth exciting year. And better yet, there's a massive $1m prize pool up for grabs; so if you're looking to jump in there's further good news because the tournament starts today; but with 15 million players last year alone the competition will be tougher than ever!
Many of you seasoned Crushers will remember how the All Star tournament works, but for those who don't here's a quick primer. In this two-month competition, open to all, you'll have the chance to progress through the rounds, from qualifiers to knockout rounds etc, with the final lucky contestats making it to a live event in Los Angeles that will see them battle for the lion's share of a $1m prize pool.
Even more stunningly though, one of the biggest additions this time around is an official theme song! And who else but everyone's favourite late 90s band Smash Mouth and their hit All Star? If there's anything to hype up potential winners then it's this famous anthem.

If you're looking to jump into Candy Crush Saga and shoot for that amazing $1m prize pool then you'll have until March 27th to compete in the qualifiers. This'll lead up to the knockout rounds and then the finals, when fans will be able to watch the top 10 in-game winners duke it out live on stage for the chance to be the Candy Crush All Star Tournament champion!
