Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game debuts dazzling new environments trailer
  • Super Evil Megacorp have unveiled a new environments trailer for Blood Line
  • This Rebel Moon spin-off boasts graphics built in their proprietary EVIL Engine
  • The new trailer shows off gorgeous environments appearing in-game

Like him or loathe him, you can't deny that Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon has one thing in its favour, and that's a gorgeous visual palette. Mixing in practical and digital effects, Rebel Moon is certainly a treat for the eyes if nothing else, and Super Evil Megacorp is eager to replicate the experience with their mobile adaptation, Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game.

Now you can get a firsthand look at how Blood Line will turn out as SEMC has unleashed their newest creation, with a trailer showing off the environments made for Blood Line. Created in the proprietary EVIL Engine, there's everything from dusky deserts to lush, fire-strewn temples and gloomy rebel bases for players to explore.

Blood Line is set to offer a mix of Diablo and the original Helldivers with its top-down shooting and slashing gameplay. You'll play as rebels on the planet Krypt, fighting back against the tyrannical Motherworld with sabotage, subterfuge and a bit of good old-fashioned violence.

Having gotten hands-on with Blood Line myself, I think it's a release with tremendous potential. The large scale and top-down perspective offer a great compromise between optimisation for mobile devices and the usual over-the-top action that Snyder's work is known for.

With the Rebel Moon film franchise seemingly dormant for the moment, Super Evil Megacorp will hopefully have the chance to restart interest in the series. And considering the releases they already have under their belt, the gameplay and visuals we've seen so far, it could very well be that Blood Line will make a splash when it releases.

But, we are still a ways out from launch for Blood Line. So if you need a way to tide yourself over, there's nothing better than digging into our list of the top five new mobile games to try this week
