BioShock launched on BlackBerry Appworld

The dystopian, art deco PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 phenomenon, BioShock, survived the translation to the mobile platform quite well, landing itself a Bronze Award from us just a couple of weeks ago (catch our BioShock mobile review):

“It was, perhaps, a little ambitious to try and replicate BioShock's tale in such a loyal manner in this release, though even attempting it shows the respect IGFun has paid this version: this is no cheap cash in.”

Eager to continue its handheld exploration of Rapture, IG Fun has now ported the game to the BlackBerry, and released it on the platform’s newly launched digital download service, Appworld. The only details we have are the moment are gleamed from IG Fun’s Twitter feed, but 140 characters don’t give much away.

Although nothing’s been confirmed, we still have high hopes for an iPhone adaptation of BioShock, as not releasing it on the most popular handheld platform of the moment would be madness – the kind of madness you see in little girls eyes as they eat your soul.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
