EA Mobile planning more Bejeweled fun
Licensing deal extended to 2008
Bejeweled has been one of the most popular casual games on mobile, mirroring its success on the Web.
EA Mobile has just released Bejeweled 2 here in the UK (we're working on a review, honest!) and the company has also just extended its licensing deal for the game to 2008.
As part of the deal. EA plans to release an all-new Bejeweled game with better graphics and sound, as well as multiplayer capabilities.
Unfortunately, the latter will only appear in the North American version of the game. Boo hiss.
In other news, EA Mobile has also released NBA Live 07 here in the UK – it popped up on operator portals on Friday. The game offers full five-on-five basketball action with the whole gamut of licensed NBA teams.
