Still no sign of Assassin's Creed DS for UK

But latest Ubisoft release schedule pins it down to April

Still no sign of Assassin's Creed DS for UK

If you read our recent US import review of Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, you'll know not to be getting your hopes up for this game. Turns out the DS doesn't do Assassin's Creed half as well as the home consoles do, turning what was an often enjoyable adventure into a mediocre platformer.

But still, it came out in the US on February 5th and was due the same month in the UK. But then it slipped to March 28th and there's no sign it'll make this Friday as planned.

Where is assassin Altair lurking?

According to Ubisoft's latest release schedule, he's not too far away. Honest. The UK version of the DS game is now scheduled to come out alongside the PC equivalent on April 11th.

Over two months after the US release, then. Not that it's something you should be waiting for too eagerly anyway, in our humble opinion. Unless the extra time has been spent tuning the experience into something rather marvellous? Yeah, that'll be it.
