An update for the iOS version of Gameloft's Silver Award-winning Asphalt 7: Heat has added two new cars, customisable control options, and a few bug fixes to the adrenaline-fuelled street racer.

The two new sets of wheels are the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. We assume they don't come with Hyundai's sensible seven-year warranty plan, but they'll definitely offer up a lot of drifting options for seasoned players.

Interestingly, the update also appears to add support for Spin Master's AppFinity AppDrive, a steering wheel peripheral for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S.

The device, which is manufactured by the same company behind the ridiculous-sounding but apparently quite entertaining AppBlaster, clamps around your phone and lets you steer with accelerometer controls.

Through some touchscreen voodoo magic, the AppDrive also allows you to use four trigger buttons arranged around the wheel to control your speed.

The update for Asphalt 7: Heat is downloadable right now, and the AppDrive should be available by the end of the month, priced $19.99.
