Golden Tee Mobile is the iOS and Android versions of the iconic arcade game of the same name. Golden Tee has been a mainstay in the arcade and sports bar world for over two decades now. Exclusively only available via arcade machines, the popular golf game has made its way to mobile, for free.

The game is also a pioneer in esports, being one of the first games to feature competitive, remote competitions around the world. The mobile version plays very much like the one you see at bars/pubs, restaurants, and arcades, but with mobile accessibility.

But the gameplay is essentially the same, and the graphics look good too. It also features the famous, wacky courses that Golden Tee is known for. One of the game's most legendary tracks, Crawdad Swamp is now in the mobile game. It's a course that features a recognizable logo and memorable holes and is popular in the game's esports scene. Here, we'll give you a few tips to help you tackle the Louisiana golf course.

The Course Has Variety

This is more of a mental note, but Crawdad Swamp's design is quite the roller coaster in Golden Tee Mobile rounds. Some holes may seem like they're pretty easy, but then there are others that can bite. There's a nice variation of length on some of the holes too.

Even when you think the short ones should be a piece of a cake, that isn't always the case. With that said, the course shouldn't absolutely punish you. It actually can reward you for hitting the right shots. Some holes might seem tough, but they are fun to play.

Anytime when you have a course that provides a nice variety, it can bring both a challenge and some added excitement to each round. In the real world, the famed Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania in the United States does a masterful job of mixing up the holes. Crawdad does the same, and it's something you should definitely take note of when playing. Just remember to have fun.

Power is Rewarded

As we mentioned, as beautiful as Crawdad Swamp is in Golden Tee Mobile, it can also be a beast at times, which is why it's a regular in the game's esports events. We also talked about the variety in which the track brings, and that includes some long par-5s.

Due to the sheer length of these holes, good, solid power is rewarded. So definitely try and put all of your might into those tee shots You can also make use of your Golden Tees (yes, the game's namesake) which will help you generate some extra power too.

There are special balls that can also help with this. The Torpedo, for example, is one of the better golf balls in the game. It helps you get some extra roll after the ball lands. But, if you use your power properly and to your advantage, it'll make some of Crawdad's massive holes look a bit smaller.

Don't Sleep on The Par 3s

In Golden Tee Mobile, Crawdad Swamp's par 3 holes are a lot of fun to play. They vary in length, and sometimes, can be extremely short. However, short doesn't always necessarily mean easy. Most of these little beauties have some kind of hazard around them.

On top of this, the greens can present challenging slopes, making it tricky on putts at times. With that being said, putting can be a breeze in GT Mobile. A good slam on the on-screen Trackman ball and the golf ball will promptly roll into the cup.

Also, the par 3s here are still the most forgiving holes on the course. They'll much easier to deal with as you play through your rounds. It's just important not to sleep on them. One little mistake and you may find yourself in a little trouble. And since they're par 3s, you only have so many shots to get a birdie.
