Interrogation: Deceived is an interrogation game, as you might have guessed, where you are a police officer, looking to question suspects, mess with them as much as you are morally willing, and help find a way to bring down a dangerous terrorist group. You will need to manage your team and reputation while interrogating - so manipulation, torture, threats, all need to be balanced as you are still a person acting within a job. But, it’s up to you to find how far you would go.
Unmemory is a text-based puzzle game where you are scrolling down through a story, with puzzles dotted around. This thriller is so gripping, where the sound and interactive puzzles are all an integral part of the story. You were tracking down a man who murdered your girlfriend, but you are someone who suffers from memory loss, so piecing back together what has happened, what you need to do next, and what is going to happen will be a large part of the game. Unmemory is a very entertaining and well made game to playthrough!
Ord. is a narrative game that consists of primarily three words. You start with one word and two choices, making a choice will branch the game, bringing you to new locations or allowing you to make new decisions. Following the same path sometimes still brings you to a new place, which means each time you play the game, there is something new to discover. As the stories are simple, the gameplay is quick, so it’s easy to jump into your own mini-adventure and then come back out again, before restarting.
Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You
Another investigation, Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You is a futuristic game where you are using all of someone’s data - everything they have put on the internet and gathered from where they go - to help an investigation. The White Door
Another wonderful game from Rusty Late, The White Door is a game about bringing color and memories back to someone’s life, after they have forgotten it all. You will need to follow Robert’s daily routine and then collect good memories from his dreams at night, allowing him to remember his life, slowly, overtime. There are a lot of little puzzles in this game, which makes things more interesting as you play.
