Apple Arcade weekly update: Sneaky Sasquatch, Mini Motorways, Jumper Jon, Dread Nautical
|

Another week, another batch of content drops for several Apple Arcade games. Subscribers also now have access to developer Night School's Next Stop Nowhere, a story-driven sci-fi adventure game. But we're here to talk about the updates to existing releases – and here they are!

Sneaky Sasquatch

Sneaky Sasquatch remains one of Apple Arcade's most popular titles, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Today's update introduces a whole new area to explore.

From a marina found below town, you'll be able to hop on a ferry and travel to another island. Here, you'll find a 4x4 for exploration purposes, as well as a fun surfing mini-game. You can also now purchase new boats to then upgrade and race, or attempt to catch some saltwater fish out at sea.

Mini Motorways

Mini Motorways' latest update adds a Fast Forward mode that allows you to tweak the game's speed to your liking. This should make building up your network a whole lot faster.

Jumper Jon

The 5th chapter of Jumper Jon's campaign has now landed. This adds a new area to explore, items and abilities to test out, enemies to face off against, and a final boss that caps off the game's initial storyline. If you're yet to give this one a go, now seems like the perfect time to do so.

Dread Nautical

Dread Nautical's new update is perhaps the largest of this week's batch, adding a New Game Plus mode, new weapons, and more. You can begin your New Game Plus run after finishing the campaign on any difficulty setting.

Within this mode, you'll be able to loot Legendary-tier items or weapons for the first time ever and upgrade your stations to level 15. Naturally, enemies are now deadlier than before, which should allow for plenty of new and welcome challenges.

Today's update also includes several additional weapon types for collection within the regular game and New Game Plus. You can expect to see over 100 new weapons, 15 new armours, and 5 new consumable items.

And that's it for this week's updates. Be sure to check back again next Friday to see what's next. Oh, and if you quite fancy trying Next Stop Nowhere, here's a handy link to its App Store page. You'll be needing an active Apple Arcade subscription to play, and one of those will cost you $4.99 a month or $49.99 for the year.
