Could Assassin's Creed be coming to Nintendo Switch?

You know the drill with these rumour-based news stories by now, right? Even if the idea of Assassin's Creed coming to Nintendo Switch is so exciting you could scream, you should take everything here with a huge pinch of salt.

Over on a German retail site, MediaMarkt, [via Nintendo Everything] an interesting listing cropped up for an Assassin's Creed Compilation. That alongside a tentative March 29th release date and 39.99 euro price tag is all the information we've got so far, so I guess now's the time to speculate.

If this does turn out to be true, I'd expect a compilation to include at least AC with Altair's introduction, and AC 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations with Ezio's line. Though, depending on whether it's based on game numbers or the series' storyline, you'd think concluding an Assassin's Creed Compilation on AC 3 would be more fitting.

Again, we have no idea whether this will come about or if this is just a wildly mistaken listing, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if the earlier games came to Nintendo Switch eventually, would you? Let us know in those comments below.
