Mobile versions of battle royale H1Z1 and MMO EverQuest are in the works
Big shooty-bang on the small screen
"Wouldn't it be great," I hear you cry, "if there was another battle royale game for me to play on mobile?" Well chum, today's your lucky day.
H1Z1: Battle Royale developer Daybreak has received investment from NantWorks, a company that has also helped set up a new mobile developer, NantG Mobile, specifically to develop mobile versions of Daybreak's games.
That's a bit confusing - the long and short of it is that versions of H1Z1 and MMO EverQuest are now in development for mobile. Hooray! More games!
What form these games will take is anyone's guess, but given the success of Fortnite and PUBG Mobile, you can expect the new edition of H1Z1 to be a full-fledged battle royale shooter thingy. EverQuest might get scaled down a bit, but only time will tell.
We'll be sure to keep you up to date with news when we hear more. In the meantime, why not check out our Fortnite hub for all the news on the biggest battle royale game in the world right now? It's really good. The hub, not the game. Though the game is pretty good too.
