Been enjoying Rayman Adventures, the gorgeous new follow-up to the excellent mobile platformers Jungle Run and Fiesta Run?

If so, you've probably noticed that a fair bit has changed this time around. The levels are more open, you can swipe to change direction, and there are some bizarre new creatures following you around - the Incrediballs.

There are also a bunch of different level types that require a unique strategy to complete them - particularly if you plan on getting the highest score in each type.

Well, that's exactly what this guide focuses on. Read on to learn the best approach to each level type and how it will help you get the highly-coveted chest of gems in each one.

Find the trapped Teensies!

This level type offers the most traditional experience in Rayman Adventures, as the focus is mainly on exploration, performing feats of platforming prowess, and finding hidden Teensies and Lums.

Finding these isn't easy though. You'll have to explore every nook and cranny of a level to search for hidden sections, and a good rule of thumb is to keep a close eye on your environment to look for discrepancies.

The best approach is to bring three Seeker Incrediballs into these levels. Not only will they sniff out all of the hidden areas, they'll also give you a score boost at the end which can make all of the difference when your final score is tallied.

Race against time!

These are all about speed and are usually the most challenging of all of the different level types as you'll need to use every trick in Rayman's arsenal to make it quickly - and safely - to the end.

The most important strategy is to keep an eye out for shortcuts or environmental boosters. These can come in many forms like springy plants, water spouts, or butterflies which create a new path for Rayman to traverse.

Other tricks you can try are punching to boost speed (which also helps you to jump further too), bouncing between the heads of your enemies, and using trial and error to test different routes through the level.

In terms of Incrediballs, we'd recommend bringing a Protector or two as, naturally, these will help you make short work of enemies as well as open up new path opportunities.

Fight to the finish!

The difficulty with these levels is not in surviving - that's generally the easy part thanks to Protector Incrediballs. No, it's in beating up every single enemy to get that high score - and that can be really challenging considering how unpredictable these levels are.

It's all part of the fun though, and there are a few tricks you can use to help you - the best of which is bringing three Protectors with you and making sure they don't get activated.

What's the point in that? Well, if an Incrediball makes it to the end of a level without being activated, you get double the score for bringing it. That's an extra 60 points right there.

The second is just to be vigilant and prepared to punch an enemy at any moment. Also, try and avoid any unnecessary danger (mostly to protect your Incrediballs) and don't be afraid to go back and finish off undefeated enemies.

Catch all the Lums!

Bring three Inhaler Incrediballs. They're absolutely essential here as they'll suck up any Lums you remotely come into contact with.

You'll also want to keep a close eye out for purple crowned Lums, as they double the number you can collect temporarily, which can make a massive difference.

Finally, take a similar approach here as you do in the trapped Teensie levels and try to explore every nook and cranny. This can be difficult at times - particularly during the faster-paced levels - but can be incredibly rewarding when it comes to your final score.

Now that you're all set, you should head on over to the App Store [download] or Google Play [download] to check out Rayman Adventures right now.
