Fly around Just Cause 3's tropical islands in a wingsuit on iOS and Android

Square Enix has released Just Cause 3: WingSuit Experience for iOS and Android today.

It lets you join the upcoming threequel's protagonist Rico Rodriguez as he skydives and wingsuits across the Mediterranean island of Medici.

You don't get to control Rodriguez directly but can look around in a full 360-degrees as he falls gracefully towards the ground. You do this using your phone's gyrometer.

Ideally you'd be playing WingSuit Experience using a VR headset such as Google Cardboard as you can physically look around by turning your head then. But it works without one.

Developer Mindlight captured 10 TB of in-engine data from Just Cause 3 so you can get a proper idea of how the game will look inside WingSuit Experience.

You can download Just Cause 3: WingSuit Experience for free on the App Store. It should also be up on Google Play soon enough.

Just Cause 3 itself will be coming out on PC and consoles this December.
