Barmark - Point and click without the point

| Barmark

Barmark is a point and click adventure with no point other than exploring and interacting with five randomly generated environments.

You do so by turning on weather-affecting machines for the archanimals and planting flowers.

The dynamic scenery is absolutely breathtaking and combines with the lovely music to create an awe-inspiring atmosphere. It's kind of like a 2D hand-drawn Monument Valley.

You tap to walk, interact with animals, and turn on the machines. It's responsive but getting your character to perform some actions can be unintuitive.

The loading times between environments are incredibly lengthy. A problem compounded by the fact your character would probably lose to a snail in a race.

Barmark isn't for everyone. The pace is glacial and the gameplay insubstantial. Give it time though and the unique atmosphere and charm might grab hold of you and refuse to let go.

Barmark plays by its own rules and will be off-putting or captivating depending on how you take to its unique charm and atmosphere
