New Fire Emblem on 3DS will make you pick between two warring factions
Peace or war?
It has been revealed that in the upcoming Fire Emblem game for 3DS - due out in the west in 2016 - you'll have to pick sides.
This is on account of your customised avatar playing the main character. That's opposed to the supporting role you took up in Fire Emblem: Awakening.
The two available sides are warring factions known as Hoshido and Nohr. You can get a look at them and their main characters in the trailer below.
Picking the peace-loving Hoshido side will give you the more familiar Fire Emblem experience.
Whereas being on the Nohr side you'll try to overthrow a kingdom from the inside. It will involve a more complex story and should be more challenging.
According to Siliconera, in Japan, this upcoming Fire Emblem game will be sold as two separate packages - the Black Kingdom and White Kingdom. Buying one lets you purchase the other as DLC.
Apparently, a third storyline will be added as DLC after the game's initial launch, too.
