Icewind Dale is the latest D&D RPG to get the enhanced edition treatment on iOS and Android
Cold winds
After the enhanced version of Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II, Beamdog has turned its attention to another classic D&D RPG, Icewind Dale.
Apparently this new port, which will feature plenty of new tweaks, pokes, and prods, will be hitting the App Store and the Google Play Store later this year.
According to a post on the Baldur's Gate forums, the game will also include content that was cut from the original release in 2000.
"Icewind Dale has been enhanced with new kits and character classes, dozens of new items and spells, and restored quest material cut from the original game."
"The redesigned user interface features Zoom capabilities and a Quickloot Bar, among numerous other improvements. Up to six players can simultaneously enjoy Icewind Dale with the new cross-platform multiplayer mode."
So there you. Pre-orders are already up for PC and Mac, and it'll set you back $19.99. Baldur's Gate II was £10.49 / $14.99 when it landed on the App Store, so expect Icewind Dale to be similarly priced.
