Disco Zoo is a new game built in collaboration between Pocket Planes developer NimbleBit and fresh-faced Canadian indie dev Milkbag Games.

Your job is to build a profitable zoo by "rescuing" animals from the wild (by playing a simple puzzle game, natch). Then, you'll have to stop in every few minutes to wake up your sheep, cows, and mythological Australian tree frogs.

The disco bit comes from the fact that you can spend some premium currency to start a crazy dance party to stop your animals from falling asleep, and therefore keep the money rolling in.

It's a bit brainless, and I've already deleted it because of the incessant push notifications. But if you fancy a simple collect-a-thon that's somehow even less involving than Tiny Tower, give it a go.

Disco Zoo will be out at midnight tonight on the UK and US App Stores, and will be free to download. An Android edition will be out in the spring. See Disco Zoo in action in our PG First Play video above.
