Real Racing 2 finally updated with support for iPhone 5 and iOS 6
New lick of paint
FireMonkeys has finally updated its Pocket Gamer Platinum Award-winning title Real Racing 2 to take full advantage of the iPhone 5's gorgeous 4-inch Retina display.
It's about time, too. Real Racing's Australia-based developer is usually a lot snappier with support for Apple's new gizmos and services.
Real Racing 2 HD was one of the first games on the App Store to take advantage of the iPad 2's dual-core A5 processor, for example, and it was also first to support wireless big-screen gaming over AirPlay.
Anyway, support for the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 is the only new element in this update.
Real Racing 2 still features 30 officially licensed cars from the likes of Ford, Nissan, and McLaren; 15 detailed tracks; and a multiplayer mode that allows you to compete against 15 other drivers.
You can currently grab the newly updated Real Racing 2 for your iPhone for 69p / 99c.
