IOS game Clash of Clans is riding high in the App Store.

And to keep it there, developer Supercell is planning plenty of new features and goodies.

One of the most important will be what's being called the Spell Forge building.

It's a new way of improving your attacks on other bases, as you can unlock spells.

Some of these are directly offensive, such as the devastating airstrike-style attacks shown in the video below. Others will enable you to buff your troops so you can speed them up, or send them into a rage or heal them mid-assault.

Something else I'm looking forward to is are the Telsa cannons.

These are defensive invisible electricity weapons that will make it harder for enemies to pick the weak points of your base when they attack.

Finally, Supercell will be implementing a video replay feature so you can see footage of how your base was attacked. This will make it easier to plan your defences.

These will be rolled out over the coming weeks, with the Telsa cannons expected this week.
