It looks like the second episode in Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Game five-chapter series is set to shamble onto the App Store sooner than expected.

Speaking to Touch Arcade, a representative from Telltale said: "We're working on the iOS version of Episode 2 right now and hoping to get it out in the next two to three weeks."

"The App Store review process is a bit of a wild card as far as it relates to giving an exact date until they approve the content, so it's harder to be more specific than this."

The second episode of Telltale's grim, zombie-infested point-and-click adventure, subtitled Starved for Help, takes place three months after the events of the first, and sees you once again taking control of Lee Everett as he tries to survive an undead-led apocalypse.

Episode 2 of The Walking Dead: The Game will set you back £2.99 / $4.99 - just like its predecessor. If you've bought the full-season subscription, however, the second episode will be available to download for free. We'll let you know about a more concrete release date as soon as it's announced.
