Gameloft's foul-mouthed Max Payne-alike shooter 9mm 'coming soon' to Xperia Play

Gameloft's iOS shooter 9mm is headed to Xperia Play, meaning you can swear, shoot, punch, and swear some more with dedicated gaming controls.

The game follows John 'Loose' Kannon and his special team of hardened bent cops, who kill a local drug lord's brother and steal his cash.

Your job is to take out the gang that's now gunning for you before your team is sleeping with the fishes.

9mm features destructible environments and the ability to utilise slow motion as you pump perps full of lead.

You have pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, grenade launchers, and a range of other death-bringing weapons at your disposal.

Plus, when you're tired of beating on computer controlled opponents, you can jump online with up to 11 other players across four different maps.

We were less than enamoured with the iPhone version, giving it an average 5/10.

Gameloft is yet to reveal a price or release date for the game.
