HandyGames needles onto Android Market with Tattoo Tycoon

Having first been released on Java back in early 2010, German publisher HandyGames has now released Tattoo Tycoon for Android smartphones and tablets, including Xperia Play.

In some ways a typical time management game, it was one that found favour with our reviewer Keith, who gave it a Pocket Gamer Silver award, explaining, "Tattoo Tycoon has very little connection to the world of tattoos itself, but nonetheless serves up a balanced and extremely playable management sim".

L.O.V.E. and H.A.T.E.

In terms of what you get up to, you have to build up your tattoo studio, overcoming six scenarios and 50 challenging tasks, gaining the cash required to hire more employees, buy better equipment and furnishing, plus more impression tattoo designs.

"Tattoo Tycoon is a casual yet challenging business simulation that combines fun mini-games with classic tycoon-style gameplay," says Markus Kassulke, HandyGames' CEO.

"It became an instant hit when it was first released for Java-compatible mobiles phones last year and bringing this great game to the Android platform was really a no-brainer for us."

More good news is that in keeping with HandyGames' philosophy, Tattoo Tycoon is available for free as an ad-supported game from the Android Market [link].
