Usually, the PG podcast contributors are spread around the UK and connected via Skype, but thanks to our two-day editorial conference, Will, Keith, and Jon got together this week for their first in situ recording.

We even bought a big live microphone to record it on, although finding a Manchester hostelry that wasn't playing 'banging' music proved more than a bit tricky.

So, aside from Keith shutting his eyes to stop Will making him laugh, and Jon getting so excited about Top Trumps that he pulls the cable out of the PC halfway through, we had a jolly time.

Topics for discussion included the first official Pokemon game on iOS, while new releases included Swords & Soldiers, DeathSmiles, and Block Breaker 3 - a game genre that gets Will so annoyed we have to ble*p him.

It's been a busy week in the What We've Been Playing Fields too, with Cars 2, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, James Pond, Two Worlds II: Castle Defense HD, and Super Sheep Tap up for discussion and review.

And finally, Will introduces us to his imaginary, historical friend Karen Taylor, the best archer in the Dorchester regiment.

Yes, it's that sort of surreal experience. Bottoms up...
