Angry Birds updates iOS game with 15 new levels prior to Super Bowl Rio reveal
Android and webOS versions to update soon
It's apparently going to be a big weekend for Angry Birds' fans as a playable demo of the forthcoming Rio game is going to be made available in an advert during the Super Bowl.
Nothing's been formally announced, but as part of Fox's Super Bowl half time advert for its new animated film, it seems there will be some sort of embedded visual code that can be used to access a single level demo of the new Angry Birds Rio game.
Fans are recommended to record the advert, or check out YouTube, and then step through it a frame at a time to solve the secret.
There will also be competition based on the single level, with the winner gaining a trip to Rio in Brazil for the film's premiere.
Gimme morePerhaps linked to this is the 1.5.1 update to the game which has just gone live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, providing an additional 15 levels.
Rovio says the Android and webOS versions of the game will also be updated soon, and indeed, all future updates across these platforms will be synced in future.
"Android and webOS get exact same levels as iPhone. This is our sync release, almost all versions in sync from now on," the company tweeted.
