EA reveals The Sims 3: Ambitions, MMA, SimCity Deluxe iPhone screens and details

The Sims 3: Ambitions - the second standalone expansion pack to The Sims on iPhone - was supposed to be with us in summer 2010.
August came and went, but thankfully EA Mobile has finally come up with some screenshots.
Posted overnight on the developer’s official Facebook page, three screenshots of the add-on to the existing Sims 3 package reveal at least one of the new career opportunities available to your sim in Ambitions.
Firefighting may be a dangerous occupation, but the uniform doesn’t half attract the ladies. Other employment paths expected in the expansion set are architect, ghosthunter, investigator, and stylist.
On the subject of simulation games, EA also announced via Facebook a free edition of its town planning title SimCity Deluxe.
The full version scored an underwhelming 6 on review last month, so it may be worth downloading a copy of the freebie for trial purposes.
In its third piece of iPhone gaming news, the maker of Tiger Woods PGA Tour, FIFA 10, and Madden 11, finally unleashed some screenies of upcoming fighting game EA Sports MMA.
UFC veteran Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture and Strikeforce heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko feature on the cover for the mixed martial arts extravaganza, due out in October.
It may have some competition in this fiercely contested arena: according to The Rumour Miner, THQ is developing an iPhone version of its critically lauded UFC Undisputed 2010.
If the controversy over the development of EA Sport’s MMA game between the giant US publisher and the UFC itself is any indication, this could be the iOS grudge match to end all.
