In keeping with the trend for cross-platform game development, Korean publisher Gamevil has announced its massive and highly regarded RPG Zenonia will be released on the Android Market sometime during March.

The game came out on the Apple App Store back in May 2009, with the sequel also due in March.

Android pricing is yet to be announced although it launched at $5.99 on the App Store.

In fact, the game is also available on Windows Mobile, BREW and WIPI. Across all versions, more than a million copies have been sold worldwide.

"We're extremely happy to bring one of our fastest growing franchises, Zenonia, to one of the most fastest growing mobile platforms in the world," stated Jin Woo, Gamevil's marketing director.

"Through our success of Baseball Superstars on the Android Market, we've decided to bring more of our games to Android to satisfy our fans and further extend our multi-platform strategy."
