Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories out in March

Online competition, four playable characters detailed in new trailer

Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories out in March

Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories will be available sometime in March, a new trailer released by Korean developer Gamevil outlined late today.

The trailer details a number of features that should level up the original's beloved old-skool role-playing including choice of four playable characters, new online player-versus-player battles, and improved visual effects.

Details on the game's setting are also revealed in the trailer, which describes a world ravaged by human corruption.

The story goes that the Tree of Life shed its leaves to destroy the memories of human corruption. Unfortunately, this only emboldened monsters and threw the world into great chaos.

That's where the game's four playable characters come in. Holy swordsman Lu, female gunslinger Ecne, the magician Morphice, and martial artist Daza attempt to set things right.

Choice always makes for a good role-playing experience, so it appears that Zenonia 2 is on the right track in providing multiple playable characters.

We're interested in learning about possible changes to character development and ability systems, as well as if any efforts have been made to truly tailor gameplay to iPhone and iPod touch - something that was missing from the original.
