High Speed Chase 2.0 speeding onto iPhone

High Speed Chase 2.0 speeding onto iPhone

We took a look at the official trailer of the new high speed, top down iPhone racer/shooter High Speed Chase 2.0 just the other day, and marvelled at its enticing retro-styled gameplay.

London-based developer JohnnyTwoShoes has just dropped us a line and let us know the game is expected to arrive in the App Store two days early, on Wednesday July 1st, which is exciting news.

High Speed Chase 2.0 packs in 20 missions, each with different targets to eliminate. You'll be able to purchase eight explosive weapons using credits and during each mission along with other upgrades for your car, and choose from a selection of different touch controls including on-screen joystick and accelerometer steering.

This looks like a riotously entertaining shoot-'em-up with bucket fulls of retro style, blending classic's like APB, Spy Hunter, Chase HQ and Burnout into a unique new iPhone destruction extravaganza.

We'll bring you some more info once the game crashes onto the App Store midweek. In the meantime, here's the trailer again.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
