Army of Two: The 40th Day coming to PSP
Having experimented with nothing, Sony tries everything
For those of you who don’t already know, Army of Two was a quite disappointing third person shooter whose Unique Selling Points were the emphasis on two player cooperative play and an enlightened homoerotic undercurrent between the two central characters, Rios and Salem.
EA has just confirmed that Rios and Salem are back.
Not, admittedly, the most incredible news of the day, but it’s nevertheless a surprise to learn that Army of Two: The 40th Day will be coming not only to 360 and PS3 but to the PSP as well.
Having put the PSP through a miserable year in 2008, it seems Sony is really making an effort to bring it back into favour. Army of Two joins LittleBigPlanet, Assassin’s Creed, MotorStorm Arctic Edge, Resistance: Retribution, and rumoured God of War, Silent Hill, and GTA games in what we like to call the PSP Super Muscle Resuscitation Platoon.
That name again: The PSP Super Muscle Resuscitation Platoon.
