Asphalt 4 out now on N-Gage

Bluetooth multiplayer mode confirmed

Asphalt 4 out now on N-Gage

We’ve had to wait a few weeks, but the first N-Gage title of 2009 is now available. Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is the second in Gameloft’s turbo-charged racing series to appear on Nokia’s platform, with Asphalt 3 seeing a launch-day release.

Of course, this new N-Gage version is a little late to the party (we reviewed the mobile and iPhone versions last year), so it’s looking to make an entrance by being the best of the bunch. To do this, Gameloft has included an “exclusive real-time Bluetooth multiplayer mode,” according to the official N-Gage blog.

You’ll be able to take 28 real-life cars for a spin, including the Ferrari F430 Spider and the terrifyingly fast Bugatti Veyron. As any racing aficionado will tell you, it’s all about the handling, so news of “a new drift engine for sharper corner control” sounds promising.

We’ll see how Asphalt 4 on N-Gage compares with the competition when we review it in the very near future.
