iPhone Hysteria growing

By which we mean a game called Hysteria, not a state of panic

iPhone Hysteria growing

They don’t come much vaguer than this teaser trailer for Bulky Pix’s forthcoming iPhone game, Hysteria, but as teaser trailers go it’s definitely… teasing.

So much so we felt compelled to conjecture on the nature of what we might expect from the cryptic Hysteria. The trailer appears to be live action, and we feel a lick of tantalising excitement at the thought of another choose-your-own-adventure/Space Ace/Dragon’s Lair style of interactive video – not unlike the excellent Alternate Endings – only with a horror/survival lilt.

The developer, Bulky Pix, is formed from ex-Vivendi Games Mobile employees after the mobile arm was chopped off the gaming giant, so one way or another we can expect something of significant quality. With the weight of experience behind the team, they’ll undoubtedly aim to make their mark with a stunning debut, so hopefully we’ll be hearing more about Hysteria very shortly.

In the meantime, check out the two trailers below:

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
