Kotaku picked up on a fault in the awesome new iPhone conversion of Puzzle Quest, in which the system appeared to randomly delete your characters, but it seems TransGaming got on the case pretty quickly.

The good news is that those lost characters were apparently hidden, rather than deleted, so once the imminent patch is applied your level 10 warrior should (hopefully) reappear.

"Pretty much what happens is, as soon as people load up 1.1, they’ll have all their characters restored provided they didn’t delete that character to begin with," TransGaming told Kotaku.

The fix has been submitted to Apple, so Puzzle Quest fans should keep an eye out on the App Store (and right here at Pocket Gamer, of course) and grab the update as soon as it lands.
