Gameloft unveils Real Football 2009 for mobile

And it connects to spin-off management sim

Gameloft unveils Real Football 2009 for mobile

Last week, we reported how Cesc Fabregas has been signed up as the face of Gameloft's Real Football 2009 game, but now we've got first details and screenshots of the game itself.

You'll be able to choose from more than 200 clubs and national teams, with the former chosen from six different leagues. Meanwhile, six football stadia are in there too, including Milan, Manchester and Madrid.

One of the big features is real-time multiplayer using Bluetooth, allowing you to play against a friend. In that, Real Football 2009 matches Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, which also offers Bluetooth play.

However, Gameloft's game has a unique selling point all of its own. If you also buy the companion Real Football Manager Edition 2009 game, you'll be able to export your team from that into Real Football 2009 to play matches with.

Pretty nifty, eh? We'll have more details on the management game in a separate story today. For now, click 'Track It!' to get an email alert when we review it.

Update: we've now reviewed Real Football 2009 and Real Football 2009 Manager.
