We love a nice futuristic shooter and Hungarian developer Derived-Art has just unveiled its new game, Burnblazer, which may hit the spot.

It's set in the year 2061, with a mysterious plot involving special troopers sent to a planet called Soqi-Wac to find some lost comrades, only to arrive and find everything on fire.

What's happened? Who's responsible? And how quickly can you kill them? All questions that the game should answer. There are four levels to play, packed with enemies and a few big bosses.

The screenshots remind us of 8-bit classic Turrican, if we're honest, which has already come to mobile as an official conversion. Still, we'll be interested to follow the progress of Burnblazer, and will bring you more news if it gets a UK release.
