Vijay Singh's mobile golf game goes 3D
Gameloft adds a new dimension to Pro Golf 2007
Fore! No sooner have you been clubbed by one great golf game (Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07), then another one comes whistling along to clonk you on the back of the head.
The game in question is Pro Golf Tour 2007 3D, a buffed-up version of Gameloft's Pro Golf Tour 2007 title, which stars Tiger's rival Vijay Singh. As you may have guessed, the main change in the new version is spanky 3D visuals.
It's not just 3D scenery and golfers, mind. Gameloft says the new game offers properly 3D surfaces, affecting the travel and lie of your ball.
The game still offers a career mode, and includes the Harbor Town Link course to play on, as well as starring appearances from Vijay himself.
Gameloft also reckons the game's intuitive shooting system will make it accessible to golfing newbies, which will put it head-to-head with the latest Tiger Woods game's one-button system. However, Pro Golf 2007 will also have extra effects for experts to master, too.
