According to video games news site gamesindustry.biz, Traxion developer Kuju has severed its relationship with publisher LucasArts with relation to the music game.

It's a sad announcement given the promise Traxion was showing, but not entirely unexpected – Pocket Gamer had heard murmurings for the past few months while, officially, both parties remained tight-lipped about the title.

Kuju has at least stated the interesting music-recognition technology Traxion employed is likely to appear in further games. So watch this space.
