Candian iOS-users can now play ARK: Survival Evolved... so long as you've got a decent device
Everybody walk the dinosaur
It feels like ages since we heard ARK: Survival Evolved was headed to mobile, but it's only been a couple of months. While War Drum Studio's ran a few invite-only betas, the game's just soft launched on iOS in Canada. I say.
ARK: Survival Evolved is a dinosaur-riddled MMORPG where you have to collect resources, capture/tame 80+ all sorts of prehistoric beasts, and build up colonies with other players to survive.
Craft weapons, clothes, shelters, villages, and cities, or if you fancy being a lone wolf you can totally go solo. Use everything you learn in the world to tactically tame your dino friends so you can ride, breed, and take them out and about with you.
This soft launch is for Canada-only at the moment. Even if you live in the area (or potentially have access to a Canadian account), you'll need one of the following devices for it to work:
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 7 Plus
- iPhone 8
- iPhone 8 Plus
- iPhone X
- iPad Mini 4
- iPad 5th Gen
- iPad Air 2
- All iPad Pros
Today we launched a preview of ARK: Survival Evolved open to all Canadian players on iOS, who will help us stress test the final stages! If you are Canadian and have an iPhone 7 or higher, click here: https://t.co/fumhMtWv9B — ARK: Survival Evolved (@PlayARKMobile) May 24, 2018
